She was one of the 2,710 Liberty ships built during WWII. She was torpedoed by the submarine U-870 close to Gibraltar Strait on 03/January/1945 and towed to Málaga, where she remained abandoned becoming in very poor condition as can be seen on the photo, until being scrapped on 1948.
